Auschwitz trip 'will cut race hatred'
Speaking after a cash injection was agreed to take hundreds of pupils to the former concentration camp at Auschwitz, the charity behind the scheme welcomed the move.
The 24-hour trip sees youngsters visit both parts of Auschwitz, where more than a million Jews were slaughtered.

Hide AdGuides will show them round and the trip culminates with a moving speech from a rabbi.
Karen Pollock, chief executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust, said: "We are dedicated to educating the young people about the Holocaust and its contemporary significance.
"We are confident that we can continue to educate members of the local community so that racism and hatred do not go unchecked."
