Attempted hold-up arrest

A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted robbery at a petrol station in Mayfield, Dalkeith at the weekend.

A 45-year-old was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today following an incident around 9.45pm on Sunday at the Shell station in the Midlothian town's Easthouses Road.
