A MAN who died after an attack at a Bonfire Night event was the intended target of the assault, police detectives have said.

Billy Faulds, 31, was seriously injured when he was attacked by “a number of people” at a park in Ruchazie, in Glasgow’s east end, on Saturday night.

Mr Faulds, of Millersneuk Crescent in Millerston, Glasgow, was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards. It is believed he had been stabbed.
