Asda worker raises funds

AN ASDA worker who won her battle with cancer is hoping to raise £2,000 by taking her colleagues on a charity walk.

Linda Anderson, from Slateford, is leading 35 co-workers along the Water of Leith for cancer group Tickle Pink on Sunday. The 57-year-old has yet to get the all-clear but has been rid of cancer for three years and hopes to help others who have been affected by the disease.

The events co-ordinator at the Chesser store said: "We've raised a lot of money for people suffering from cancer."
