Arts hub bid is in the post

A PLANNING bid has been lodged to transform a former Royal Mail office on Gorgie Road into a music and arts hub.

Keith Easton, director of Identity Parade Arts Ltd, hopes to create a dedicated rehearsal space for aspiring artists and drama groups, if planners approve the move.

He said: "There is real potential to create and develop a hub that does not exist anywhere else in Edinburgh."
