Art teacher sacked for beating pupils

AN ART teacher at a Catholic boarding school in Thailand has been sacked after secretly recorded mobile phone footage showed him beating pupils with a cane wrapped in wire.

Somchai Limthanmaporn was filmed hitting at least 40 pupils.
