Art centre to host display

AN exhibition of some of Edinburgh's top artists and craftmakers is to be held at a council-owned gallery.

City leaders have announced that the City Art Centre will host the exhibition of local work later this year.

The Edinburgh Visual Arts Awards and Craft Maker Awards schemes have supported more than 200 proposals to develop new work.

Councillor Deidre Brock, the city's culture and leisure leader, said: "This exciting new exhibition will showcase pieces by many very talented artists."
