Arrest over woman abducted, assaulted in Edinburgh
A MAN has been arrested in connection with the abduction and sexual assault of a woman last month.
The 31-year-old woman was allegedly attacked after getting into a car in Edinburgh city centre and being taken to a lay-by just past Hillend ski slope, near Boghall Farm in Midlothian on April 12.
Police Scotland said a 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged.
He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court tomorrow.
