Arrest in George St

A MAN was arrested and charged with vandalising a car in George Street.

The 30-year-old man was detained by police following a disturbance in the street in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police had been called to a disturbance involving two men near Madogs pub before making the arrest.

A police spokesman said: “A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged vandalism on George Street at around 2.16am on Saturday.”
