Arrest in connection with housebreaking spree

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a number of housebreakings in Edinburgh's most exclusive street.

The Evening News revealed earlier this month that there had been a string of break-ins over less than three weeks at homes in Ann Street in Stockbridge.

Jewellery and cash was taken from four A-listed homes in Ann Street - names as one of the six most exclusive streets in the UK - while two addresses in neighbouring Danube Street and Upper Dean Terrace were also hit.
