Armed robber hits newsagent's shop

A SHOP in the West End of Glasgow has been robbed by a man wielding a weapon.

He entered Tabak Newsagents in Hyndland Road at about 6:40pm on Sunday, threatened a member of staff, demanded money from the till and ran off with a three figure-sum. Police have appealed for witnesses.
