Armed raid terror

A TERRIFIED cashier was forced to hand over money at gunpoint yesterday, when a robber held up a bookmaker's shop.

The man walked into William Hill's in St John's Road, Corstorphine, Edinburgh, at 9:30am and threatened the cashier with what appeared to be a handgun. He was last seen walking towards Kirk Loan.

He is tanned, about 6ft, with prominent features and a dark beard and moustache. He appeared to be in his thirties and was wearing a dark woollen hat, dark grey hooded jacket with a white motif, blue jeans and white trainers.
