Are these Edinburgh’s worst parking jobs?

Those images were the tip of the iceberg as people across the Capital took to social media yesterday, sending in a flood of photographs to the Evening News showing some of the city’s most inconsiderate drivers.

The shameful catalogue was sparked by one man’s decision to create a new website highlighting the errors made by the city’s badly-behaved motorists.

The 29-year-old Scottish security officer from Wester Hailes, who wished to remained unnamed, has urged police to use images and videos posted on his Edinburgh’s Worst Drivers Facebook site to convict offenders.

Readers were yesterday keen to document a string of parking blunders.

Among the pictures was one of a Suzuki wedged up against a Volkswagen in the adjacent parking space at at Fort Kinnaird retail park in Newcraighall.

And a Land Rover Discovery driver was also caught out parking his 4WD halfway over the kerb at Ocean Terminal in Leith despite having access to a full bay.
