Archbishop of Canterbury partially deaf since age of 2

The Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams has revealed he has been partially deaf virtually his whole life.

He told charity Action on Hearing Loss: "My hearing loss began when I was about two, as a result of meningitis, and that left me with total loss of hearing in my left ear."
