Apprentices book into hotel project

DOZENS of trainees will be working in Macdonald Hotels across Edinburgh and the Lothians as part of a modern apprenticeships scheme.

Skills Development Scotland is working with the hotel chain to create 109 places in Edinburgh, Aviemore and other locations across Scotland.

The apprenticeships will equip the trainees with recognised vocational qualifications in cookery, general hospitality and food and drink service and hospitality management.
