Apprentice candidate in the doghouse

GLASGOW-born Apprentice hopeful Vincent Disneur was sent home with his tail between his legs last night after a surprise double sacking which also saw Lord Sugar fire managing director Ellie Reed.

Disneur's team were deemed the losers in an advertising task after they tried to market a dog food called Every Dog - despite being advised by a vet that you cannot feed all dogs the same food.

Disneur, 29, was project manager for the losing team and chose to take Reed and Natasha Scribbins into the boardroom to face the intimidating wrath of Lord Sugar.

The business tycoon then took the unusual step of sacking two of them.
