Appliance to science is lacking

Medicine, science and engineering come out top in a poll of career paths city parents would like for their children.

But 63 per cent of parents surveyed by The Big Bang - supported by Professor Brian Cox - aren't encouraging these career paths because of their own lack of knowledge.
