Appeal over unconscious man outside Arbroath club

POLICE Scotland today appealed for information after a 23 year-old man was found unconscious outside an Arbroath nightclub.

The man, who had suffered head injuries, was found lying outside Devitos Nightclub in the town’s Millgate, around 12.20am on Sunday morning.

A spokesman for the Tayside Division of Police Scotland said: “He was taken to Ninewells for treatment and later allowed away. A number of people went to his assistance and we urge them to come forward.

“Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland, Tayside Division on 101, or any police officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
