Appeal over racist abuse

Police are appealing for a woman subjected to racist abuse in Edinburgh to come forward.

A member of the public overheard a man verbally abusing a black woman and children outside the Co-Op in Bughtlin Market at 2pm on Thursday, January 13.

The person reported the incident to staff in store, saying it was the worst racial abuse she had ever heard in her life. Police are also keen to trace this witness, as she did not leave contact details in store.
