Appeal for help after sheep killed

POLICE have issued an appeal after 14 sheep were killed and five injured in Caithness.

It is believed to be a case of sheep worrying by a dog or pack of dogs.

Northern Constabulary said the deaths happened some time between 2:30pm and 7:30pm on Wednesday in a field close to Watten village hall, between Thurso and Wick.
