Appeal for Meadows fest volunteers

VOLUNTEERS are being sought to lend a hand at the Meadows Festival next month.

The event will include stalls, two music stages and a school football competition, among other things.

Meadows Festival Association convenor, Fred Mackintosh, said: "I would urge local people who want to help to find us on Facebook, Myspace or at www. meadowsfestival. org.uk and volunteer."

The festival takes place on 5 and 6 June.
