Appeal after ring found

Charity bosses are looking for the owner of a lost wedding ring found during recent renovation work.

The ring, found at the Eric Liddell Centre in Bruntsfield, has a hallmark indicating that it came from London in 1969 with the maker’s mark “S&W”. It was recently found in the centre’s south west wing, a former café.

Bob Rendall, chief executive at the Eric Liddell Centre, said: “This ring is clearly important for someone. There are some quite clear identifying marks, so the proper owner should be able to claim it easily.”

If you think the ring is yours contact 0131-447 4520.
