Appeal after man dies at Aberdeen amusement park

Police Scotland are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man who was found dead at an amusement park in Aberdeen.

The man died at the Boardwalk at Codona’s amusement park near the city’s beachfront on Sunday.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The man was found at around 10.10pm and police can confirm that there is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”

The man is described as being around 30 years of age, 5ft 9ns tall, weighing 66 kilos, of slim build, with reddish/brown hair and a freckled complexion. He was wearing Officers Club dark blue denim jeans, a black Adidas top, an orange Adidas t-shirt and size 9 F&F grey plimsolls.”

Detective Sergeant Stuart Gray, who is leading the investigation, said: “We appealing for anyone who knows someone who matches the description of the man to get in touch with us and may have information that helps with identifying the man.

“Anyone who may know who the man is, or has concerns about a relative or friend, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
