Appeal after lorries crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road smash involving two lorries and a car.

The crash took place at around 11.45am on Monday near the Sheriffhall roundabout on the City Bypass. Two articulated lorries travelling east collided and came to a stop, before a Toyota car struck one of the lorries from behind.

The 61-year-old Toyota driver was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
