Appeal after cat abandoned

THE Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after a cat was abandoned in Holyrood Park.

The black and white female cat was found in a blue and grey pet carrier amongst trees next to St Margaret's Loch on Tuesday.

Another tortoiseshell cat was found sitting next to the carrier. Senior inspector John Toule said: "Neither cat had a tag or microchip to identify their owners."
