Anthrax fears over drug

HEROIN users have been warned they still face the danger of anthrax poisoning if they continue taking the drug.

So far, 19 people have been poisoned across Scotland, of whom nine have died, although a case has yet to hit the Lothians.

However, health chiefs are keen that drug addicts don't become complacent and said the poison probably remains in heroin supplies.
