Annie Lennox's momentos go on show

ANNIE Lennox is to display 40 years worth of memorabilia at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Personal items going on show will look back on the Scottish singer's successful career as part of The Eurythmics as well as her solo work.

The exhibition, opening in September, features outfits, records, photographs and even ticket stubs.

It has already been quite a year for the Sweet Dreams songstress.

She picked up the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef award for lifetime achievement and was awarded an OBE by The Queen for her services to charity.

Lennox told BBC 6 Music: "I am going to have a sort of retrospective of a lot of my archive and that is really going to be beautiful. What can I say?"
