Animal film does good

EDINBURGH-based charity OneKind is in the running for a YouTube award.

They're Here, a film made by the animal charity, is among the final 16 entries in the YouTube DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards. The awards recognise non-profit organisations making the best use of new media to engage people and advance social causes.

More than 1350 entries have been received, with the winning film in line for exposure to a global audience via the YouTube homepage and a $2500 prize.
