Anglers set to clean up river

WEST Lothian Angling Association has arranged a number of clean-up events covering the length of the River Almond over the next few months.

The anglers’ next clean will take place on Saturday, October 22, from 10.30am to 1.30pm. Anyone interested in taking part should meet at St Margaret’s Academy in Livingston.

Meanwhile, Friends of the Froggy have organised a clean up at the Froggy Park in Dedridge on Saturday, from 11am to 1pm.

Murieston Community Council will also hold a clean up on Sunday. Meet at Murieston village hall at 11.30am to join in. The event will finish at 1pm.
