Anger at Royal Mail health and safety 'madness'

Devon: Residents accused the Royal Mail of health and safety "madness" after it refused to deliver post along their cobbled street because it is too dangerous.

The regular postman on Bilton Terrace, in Bideford, Devon, initially refused to deliver mail after he slipped before Christmas.

Cardiff: Drivers have been urged to stop hurling abuse at school lollipop men and women.

Cardiff Council has seen a rise in the number of crossing patrol staff being verbally abused.

As well as verbal abuse while passing, some drivers have pulled over to further intimidate the lollipop person.
