Street Soccer Scotland were crowned winners defeating Record Factory in the final.

Social Bite won the consolation tournament beating Harper MacLeod in the final.

The day also included a charity ‘Beat the Keeper’ event with Queen of the South stopper Kenny Arthur, founder of KA Goalkeeping, which allowed people to test their penalty skills in between games.

The inaugural “Find A Player 5’s” tournament was organised by Jim Law, founder of the recently launched app, Find A Player. The app, which launched in Scotland and the rest of the UK last month, enables sports teams to organise their games in one process, and links people looking for a sports game to join, with local events in need of participants.

Five Scottish charities travelling the world to give back

Law said: “We wanted to host a five a side football tournament to celebrate the launch of our app and encourage people to take part in a sport they love.

“In doing so, we also wanted to give something back to the local community. And what better way to do that than to raise money for two hugely worthwhile local charities.”

He added: “The tournament was a huge success and we have helped raise money for such worthy causes. It was great to see so many teams taking part.”
