Anchors away as thieves strike

GRAMPIAN Police have appealed for information after 15 anchors, worth thousands of pounds, were stolen from a harbour in Aberdeenshire.

Police said a vehicle may have been used to remove the steel anchors from the harbour at Cruden Bay in two raids at around noon on 3 September and some time between 5pm on Thursday, 6 October, and 9am on Friday, 7 October.`
