An ice way to spend a summer day

YOUNG visitors to Our Dynamic Earth at Holyrood have been enjoying a series of Antarctic Open Days.

Antarctic scientists have been on hand to bring to life the realities of living and working in Antarctica through a variety of visual and hands-on displays, interactive activities and discussion groups.

Among those enjoying the venue yesterday were youngsters Jack Capes, Demi Scorfield, Sam Capes and Ellie Scorfield, pictured right.
