Amsterdam stubs out 'no toking' signs

AMSTERDAM is phasing out "no toking" signs introduced to limit cannabis smoking zones.

The Netherlands' top legal adviser has said the city can't establish legal zones to smoke marijuana since it is effectively illegal across the country, though personal use is allowed and some shops permitted to sell it.
