Amnesty award nods

PLAYS about a Nigerian girl trafficked to Scotland for sex and a father's search for truth in the wake of the Lockerbie bombing have been shortlisted for Amnesty International's Freedom of Expression Awards.

Award judges said: "Roadkill takes the audience into the claustrophobic nightmare of one young woman's experience of trafficking, while Lockerbie: Unfinished Business is a thoroughly researched piece that underscores the integrity of a father and justice campaigner."
