IRAN'S ambassador to Iraq has said he expects two Americans held in Iran on spy charges to be released "very soon".

Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal were arrested in July 2009 after they said they mistakenly crossed into Iran while hiking in Iraq. A third American, Sarah Shourd, was released last September.
