Alfie to tread the boards

A NEW production of Bill Naughton's classic play Alfie will be staged at the Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh next month.

The production by Berkshire-based Blackeyed Theatre Company offers a fresh interpretation of the play made famous by the film starring Sir Michael Caine, itself remade with Jude Law in the title role.

Edward Elks stars in the lead role as ladies' man Alfie. It will be staged on Saturday, 13 March.

Tickets cost 10.50 or 8.50 concessions and 6 for unde-18s.
