Alex Salmond backs flu jab

FIRST Minister Alex Salmond has urged people to get the flu jab, after revealing he will get one today.

Since the vaccination campaign began in October, only one in five pregnant women has come forward for the jab.

Mr Salmond said: "I would encourage everyone in the at-risk groups to get the vaccination as it's the best protection you could possibly have against the flu virus."
