Mark Lanegan's background with the Screaming Trees and Queens Of The Stone Age and recent collaborations with Isobel Campbell have elevated him to the status of voice de jour for many. But British production duo Rich Machin and Ian Glover deploy his talents to the greatest effect on the 10 out of the 13 tracks he dominates here.

You Will Miss Me When I Burn smoulders with angst-ridden soul, and the duet with Red Ghost on Rolling Sky is a modest show-stopper.
