Album review: Nadine Coyle, Insatiable

Having failed to reach agreement with any conventional record labels, the most orange member of Girls Aloud releases this debut solo effort on her own imprint backed by supermarket giant Tesco.

So what is she selling exactly? Homogenised pop pap from a variety of proven popular suppliers, none of whom enhance their slender reputations. Toby Gad collaborates on Sexy Love Affair and You Are The One. Blur's Alex James has a writing credit on Rumours. The royalties will not compensate a career low point.
