Alan keeps brunch date

Former Hibs and Scotland goalkeeper Alan Rough is to appear at this year’s Danderhall Hearts Supporters Club speakers’ brunch.

Appearing alongside Rough at the annual event are compere John McKelvie and former Scottish football referee John Rowbotham.

There will also be a raffle and several items up for auction.

Organiser Willie Duncan said: “All funds raised will go to Danderhall Hearts Supporters Club.

“But we would stress that it is not just an event for Hearts supporters.”

The brunch will be held at Bonnyrigg Rose Social Club, Dundas Street, on Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.

Tickets cost £20, including hot filled rolls, and will be available on the day at the door.
