Airport provides food for thought

Hungry travellers are to benefit when Glasgow airport undergoes a major refurbishment later this year.

Work on the project, which is estimated to cost in the region of 1.5 million, will begin in the New Year. The project will transform the airport's landside food and beverage operations

The new landside units, which will seat around 324 and 78 customers, will be located on the first floor of the main terminal - opposite the departures - and on the ground floor international arrivals hall.

The four food outlets will offer a variety of fresh food that will be prepared and cooked on the premises.
