Norwegian Airlines will operate the three weekly departures every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Daniel Skjeldam, the airline's chief executive, said: "Edinburgh is one of Europe's top tourist destinations. The city has a lot to offer."
The flights start on 6 May.
