Airline launches third Irish route

IRISH airline Aer Lingus has announced a new route between Edinburgh and Shannon airport in Co Clare.

The service, which will be operated by Aer Arann, is the third Aer Lingus regional connection between the city and Ireland.

The airline also operates services to airport hubs in Dublin, the Irish capital, and Cork.
