Air travel chaos: Family's frustration over lack of communication

JACQUIE Clayton and her family from Kingsknowe, Edinburgh, are stuck in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and fear they will not be reimbursed, having booked flights and accommodation separately.

They have received little information from Airasia, other than they will get four hours' notice regarding a possible departure time. They say there is growing frustration among passengers about the lack of communication.

Nonetheless, they are thankful that the cost of living in Malaysia is low, and are determined to the make the most of their extended family holiday.
