African film makes debut

Acclaimed South African film Fezeka's Voice will be unveiled at the capital's Africa in Motion Film Festival.

The stirring drama tells the true story of choirmaster Phumi Tsewu's dedication to his township, his school and his choir.

The film, which portrays the highs and lows of the Fezeka High School's first tour abroad, has been praised by Archbishop Desmond Tutu as being of "immeasurable" value to South Africa.

The Festival runs from October 21-November 5, based at The Filmhouse. The film will debut on October 26.
