Aegon cash for St John's

A MAJOR city firm has handed two NHS Lothian charities £25,000 each following a fundraising campaign.

Life and pensions company Aegon gave the cash to the St John's Hospital oncology unit and the Simpson's Memory Box appeal.

Gill Scott, Aegon's UK director of human resources, said: "Our employees are thrilled to be able to contribute to these worthwhile charities, who do such valuable work within our community."
