Advice offered on Lottery cash bids

GROUPS in the Lothians will find out how they could benefit from a share of £400 million of funding when the Big Lottery Fund comes to Midlothian.

The Big Lottery Fund team will be on hand at the Loanhead Miners Community Centre on September 7 to provide practical advice and support for local groups that want to explore an idea for funding, or need advice on how to make a good application.

The event is part of a three-month tour of Scotland between August and October, during which the team will deliver more than 40 information sessions.

The information day will be held between 10am and 4pm.
