Adele retains the No 1 slot in album charts

ADELE has managed to cling on to top spot in the charts for the 11th week running with her album 21.

The singer's critically- acclaimed 11-track LP made pop history last week for the longest stay at the summit of the chart.

Straddled by Adele's 21 and her debut album 19, Katy B's new album On a Mission stormed straight into the charts at No 2, according to the Official Charts Company.

Scottish indie rockers Glasvegas also scored a high new entry with Euphoric Heartbreak, in at No 10.

Jennifer Lopez stayed at No 1 in the singles chart with On The Floor, featuring rapper Pitbull.

Party Rock Anthem, by LMFAO featuring Lauren Bennet and Goonrock, moved up a place to No 2.

The longest stayer in the singles chart, Adele's Make You Feel My Love, crept back up one spot to No 39 yesterday.
