Actors tread the boards for charity

TWO budding actors will tread the boards at the Edinburgh Festival next month in aid of charity.

Founder of Evolve Theatre, Emily-Grace Hyland, 18, and cast member Joseph Bader, 20, will tackle the controversial subject of teenage suicide in a one-act play in aid of the NSPCC's Child's Voice Appeal

The Buckinghamshire duo will perform The Edge - created by Scottish-based writer Ron Nicol - donating all ticket sales to the project which aims to grow the charity's ChildLine service.

Miss Hyland, who plays "she" in the two-person production cast, said: "We wanted to support ChildLine as we know the service has helped thousands."

The production is at The Space, in Jury's Inn, from August 9-14 from at 7.10pm. Previews are on August 6 and 7.
